Getting Started!

via Skona Hem
Very exciting week at my house! I walked downstairs on Sunday morning to find my husband and youngest son measuring up for materials. This will include replastering walls and finally getting my built in book cases. I know it will be still months away from completion but I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. I will post before and afters when it is done, if I'm brave enough to share the befores. Sorry our posts are so sporadic but we are working on a few projects at the moment and because it's still school holidays, we are calling in a few babysitting favours. Will hopefully have some gorgeous pics of our work coming up soon. Tracey xx

Understand completely about the school holiday thing. My poor 2 have spent their days in wood shavings, under our house frame, playing their Nintendos, while I have meetings with tradesmen. Your bookcase sounds spectacular. Post lots of photos! A-M xx

Oh I love built in. I so have a spot in my heart for Craftsman Bungelows because they are filled with them. I can't wait to see updates and see how they turn out.

I also love big bookshelves, as mine fill up all the time and I'm always needing to add more shelves. Just love my books. We've also been trying to find the perfect couch for a small room and it's taking forever. I just love those big soft big cushioned lounge chairs... just need to know how to make something I love fit! Love your blog!
