Green Velvet!

This green velvet lounge is on my Christmas wish list! When I stumbled across this image on the gorgeous 'This is Glamorous' blog, my heart skipped a beat! Happy new week all - I'm enjoying the first day of my kids school holidays - we will be watching lots of Christmas movies...perfect! Tracey xx

    I love it - I love anything green really. When I first moved to Atlanta, my decorator recommended a beautiful velvet for my living room sofa, and I thought she was crazy! Now, I think she was genius (I ended up doing something else which was fine, but now am longing for a velvet sofa).

    Tracey that sounds like the perfect day. So happy you posted this photo. I always 'waffle' back & forth as to what my favorite colors are for my formal living space.     Enjoy your Christmas holidays with the kids - we are heading back to Australia on Tuesday and I can't wait - London weather is so bleak at this time of year. Hoping for 2 weeks in the sun before January's snow hits. Have a great Christmas.

    Have you ever seen Lauren's green sofa over at Pure Style Home? I believe it was a craiglist find that she had recovered in the green velvet color. It is fantastic and I know your soon-to-be green couch will be as well!
