Classic Tiles...

I have loved these hexagonal tiles for a really long time but always in bathrooms. Lately I've been admiring them in kitchens - they add interest to the space without being domineering. Plain white are stunning but I also love when the black feature tiles are added - so timeless!

This kitchen is a fabulous example of the impact these tiles can have on a kitchen - outstanding!

Of course they still look amazing in a bathroom.

How to decide The Best Small Kitchen Appliances

When shopping in an appliance store, create positive you know what your kitchen needs so that you avoid spending added on fancy gadgets and add-ons that you may never find to use. Small kitchen appliances are very suitable and space-saving. However, having too many or choosing the wrong ones may only add to the risk of small kitchen confusion.

Mall kitchen appliance should be at an extent approving to the room. Try to agree on the right color, type and size that match your kitchen. Tall shapes are ideal in creating the daydream of a wider space. Be careful about your refrigerator's measurements though since it can overwhelm the area if it is too large making the room appears much smaller than usual. Flexibility, durability and convenience are three things that you should look for when buying kitchen appliances. A wall oven or cook top is considerably more flexible compared to conventional and larger ranges.

Tiles have been my biggest concern in the design of my home. With no experience in design, I have sweated over what to do in my bathrooms. I wanted something so classic that it wouldn't date... is that possible? I decided on 200 x 100 white gloss subway tiles in my kitchen and laundry... can you believe the tile place had to order them in as they are, quote "so yesterday"!!!! My bathroom tiles consist of a 450 x450 grey stone floor tile and white wall tile (with a very subtle damask pattern through it). I soooo have my finders crossed as I won't know how it looks until it's all done. I wish I was adventurous as your gorgeous images... but I think next time I will leave the decision to a professional! First house = big lessons! A-M xx

i love classic tile work - for something that is so tedious to install, i agree that it should be timeless
