A couple of weeks ago I said that we here at Porchlight Interiors would show our favourite makeover of the week. Well I'm not that organised to make such promises so lets just call it our makeover of "whenever we feel like it". This attic was from Point Click home by designer Candice Olsen.
Before
There are many pretty blues out there but this is what I like to call "ugly blue". Almost any colour change would be an improvement on this.
After
Agh! That's better, I can breath again! The cream with the softer duck egg blues is so much calmer to look at.
After
Love the bit of lime green added in also - so fresh! It's great to see small spaces being so well utilised - it takes a clever designer to pull it together without the room looking cluttered.

What a nice room. The ceiling treatment is great and I like the addition of the bar. Not having to climb up and down those steps would be great!
Nice post!
Shawn's right about the bar, & as MOTH & I share a Home Office, that suggestion to him may just move the reno. time-line of that room to the front of the queue!

That is certainly a great transformation. It went from feeling very sterile to welcoming and cosy. they certainly managed to fit a lot of functions into a small space.

Who says you can't fit alot of furniture in a small room without making it cluttered? Very cleverly done. It's gorgeous.
Anna :)
Gorgeous!!! Where is that sofa from?
Hi Angie,
I believe that the sectional lounge is from Norwalk Furniture (www.norwalkfurniture.com).
