Spring time living

The beginning of Spring here in Queensland has been so lovely. I love Spring time! It's warm enough to sit outdoors and enjoy a bit of morning sun on our back veranda now. And somehow, Spring time gets you in the mood to get out in the garden and even do some baking in the kitchen with the kids on a Sunday morning. I thought I would share a few beautiful images that remind me of this lovely time of the year.

I love this veranda that I found on Camila at home blog
these gorgeous hydrangeas come via camila at home

my favorite place to shop for my kids evey year at the beginning of Spring
The seed shop

I adore the colour of these french almond macaroons. We always make a batch of these in September and take them away camping. Who says you can't be stylish when you go camping!

Enjoy your springtime, I too am saying goodbye to summer and sunshine but those images give us northern hemisphere gals something to look forward to.

I have seen these macaroons on almost every blog site and you are tell me that you have a recipe? I am guessing that they taste as good as they look. Well Martha, I mean Tracey, I love your Spring Fling. I am getting ready for a Autum Fling. Thanks, Heidi

Thanks so much for all the lovely comments. I must say, I am very excited that winter is over for us now, but I do think it's always nice to see a change in the season and so I wish all you lovely ladies along with your friends and families many joyous moments in the months ahead.
I promise to post the recipe in the next few days, I will have to go hunting for it. Quite easy to make really! Hayley
