Little Black Awning!!!

I have a large collection of black awnings in my inspiration files because I think they can make an ordinary building look really beautiful. I have just put together a few of my favourites - what do you think?

I know I have used this one before but it is worth showing again!

This last one is my favourite! I need to find a way to incorporate this look
for my pool area! Tracey x

Very, very nice! Yes, elegant is the only way to describe these black beauties. Certainly beats those horrible multi-striped canvas awnings of my childhood - what were you thinking Mum!

I too absolutely LOVE these images. I try so hard to work out a way to incorporate a black or grey awning to my facade but I don't know if that'll ever happen. These were truly inspiring, thank you!

They really give a touch of class to an exterior. I love the straight black ones.

Hi Heidi, sorry I don't know where the last pic is from. I saved this long before I started blogging so didn't save where I found it unfortunately! Tracey x

I totally agree with you. When we got awnings i could not find a company that had black or striped black & whtie. We ended up going with a very dark blue to match some of the paintwork...but i think black would have looked better! Next house...
