"Only French Doors" is my new mantra. I even have them in the entrance to our study and the entrance to the playroom... wherever I could put them, I did... and buying 'stock' items, they were almost the same price as plain solid timber doors! Why not! I love the doors in your first image. I think I might go darker next time! A-M xx

They are the only way to go. So classic, timeless and they add such character.

I love them too - we only have 5 windows in house and 15 sets of french doors! They make every room special. Leigh

Yes, they really open a space and bring more light and air into to room.
But it is necessary to choose quality and well-made glasses, because it can appear a problem with big heat losses through them. So be careful by choosing your dream french doors!

I adore them too - does anyone know if they are of French origin? Probably as they are so beautiful?
They connect the inside so well to the outside and bring an air of romance and intrigue! And for me always in white - yum! Just catching up reading Blog posts and I had already posted some images of French Doors a couple of days ago.
