I know all you lovelies from the Northern hemisphere are happy to be welcoming Summer but here in Australia, I'm really happy to light up the fire and enjoy the cosiness of a good night in with the beautiful cold Winter nights!
Just thought I would share some fireplace inspiration from one of my favourite designers John Jacob!
And I'm just going to share this pic of my backyard yesterday in the middle of a hail storm - my boys were very excited! This cooled everything down nicely! Happy winter everyone in the Southern hemisphere! T xx

Happy winter indeed! we have had weird weather here in New Hampshire - today thunder storms, lightning, hale and tornado warnings in Massachusetts - but its super hot - about 85 F...stay warm down under! :0
I like the rustic look of the second room, made rustic because of the wheels on the wall and the cabinet at the back and the floor, looks warm and inviting but contemporary, rustic and modern a lot of combinations.
