Feeling Festive...

Trying desparately to get into the Christmas spirit before Friday night, when I have promised the boys that we can put the Christams tree up! I love the simplicity of these photos from Notebook magazine.

I always love a tree decorated with flowers - I just have to decide on a colour! Tracey x

I think I'm going to put my tree up on the weekend too - I'm psyching myself up to it because it is a big tree and takes me ages to put up (my son wanders off after a few mintues - he has a short attention span!). Can't wait to see the pics of your tree!

I have been a bit bah humbug about the whole thing this year... I think it is because all our stuff is in storage and I can't for the life of me remember what vincinity the Christmas tree is in! You have inspired me to search for it this weekend! A-M xx

Linda, I was thinking the same thing, but then I remembered that they don't have Thanksgiving to serve as the "unofficial" start of the Christmas season like we do. Ladies...enjoy!

I'm thinking we might have to put ours up too! When I was a child I made my family wait until after my birthday (December 19th) to put the tree up as I thought everyone was too busy celebrating Christmas to remember me! I have grown out of that now and can't wait to get my tree and huge collection of snowflakes out.

Yay, have fun putting up the tree - i am sure it will look stunning. Dont you love this time of year when all the magazines come out with their Christmas features? I bought the Home Beautiful today and am drooling over the home featured there! Mel xxx

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your site is fantastic!!! I too am trying to get in the swing and start a little hint of Christmas around the house. The husband insists we wait until the day after Thanksgiving.. that is the day we usually trim up the tree! It all comes on so fast! Can't wait to see your tree when it is done! Oh..and by the way, the chest of drawers is BEAUTIFUL all transformed!
