Our street!! We cannot get anywhere near our office but estimate that the height of the water will be around one metre over the floor. Big clean up next week!

Hope the clean up isn't too horrible and that you haven't lost too much. I'm not quite sure where all the sludge that will be on the streets and in homes and businesses will go! There is a whole lot of water just near us but we are on a hill so have been very lucky.

I feel very bad for all those effected by the horrific flooding. I'm holding out hope that your damage and clean-up is minimal. Let's hope for a better 11 months ahead for this New Year.

My brother lives in New Castle & Sydney (he teaches at Uni of NC ~ Marketing) and I hear updates through him. Glad he & his expecting significant are safe but feel terribly for you all. Be safe and keep us posted via your blog. I live in Atlanta, GA and we had like 6" of snow then freezing sleet and still cannot drive on our street & kids are out again tomorrow. We are watching the news over here in The Netherlands too and we are devastated. Feel so sorry for you and all that is lost. Praying for courage for you all.
